Watertown, Mass. – January 28, 2020 – WiTricity, the industry pioneer in wireless power transfer over distance, announced today that its CEO Alex Gruzen, CTO Morris Kesler and Senior Principal Engineer Ky Sealy will present at the Conference on Electric Roadways and Vehicles (CERV 2020) in Park City, Utah, on Feb. 10-11, 2020.
Gruzen will kick off the conference, holding the keynote presentation from 7:50-8:20 a.m. on Feb. 10. In his keynote, Gruzen will discuss the EV wireless charging market, including technology developments, advancements in global standardization and roadmap for commercialization. He will also make the case that EV wireless charging will be a necessity in a future of transportation that is autonomous and shared.
From 9:15-10:10 a.m. on Feb. 10, Kesler will be joined onstage by automotive OEMs to discuss their perspectives on the needs and solutions for light duty vehicles, including wireless charging. Kesler will speak on a panel with:
- Rich Scholer, senior technical specialist at Fiat Chrysler Automobiles
- Andreas Wendt, senior project manager at Toyota
- Rakan Chabaan, principal engineer and technical lead of advanced wireless charging at Hyundai
On Feb. 11 from 10:15-11:10 a.m., Sealy will join the following panel participants onstage to provide an update on EV charging standards and interoperability efforts, specifically for wireless charging:
- Dan Mikat, senior program manager at Toyota
- Nils-Gunnar Vågstedt, founder of SHEPHERD initiative of Scania Innovation Factory
- Robert Sutton, marketing and advertising at TDK RF Solutions
