Alex Gruzen will address the audience at the Emerging Technology Showcase in Fastpitch Competition
Watertown, Mass. – April 3, 2017 – WiTricity, the industry pioneer in wireless power transfer over distance, today announced CEO Alex Gruzen will be participating in the New York International Auto Show’s Emerging Technology Showcase and Fastpitch on April 12-13, 2017.
The New York International Auto Show is the first and largest-attended one of its kind dating back to the 1900s. This year’s event will usher in the latest trends in automotive, showcasing the cutting-edge design and innovation foundational to the future of the industry. WiTricity has proven itself as one of those innovations with its wireless charging solution for electric and autonomous vehicles, a crucial part of the automotive ecosystem of tomorrow. GM, Nissan and Toyota are testing the technology and several Tier 1 suppliers including BRUSA, Delphi, IHS and TDK are licensees.
At this year’s event, WiTricity CEO Alex Gruzen will join other mobility-related tech companies in a Fastpitch competition, taking place at 12:45 p.m. ET on April 13. In his session he will shine a spotlight on the foundational role WiTricity plays in the future of EV adoption as well share insight into how the autonomous ecosystem will be built around wireless charging. Competition judges include Dawn Manley, Strategy, Business Development and Partnership at Samsung Strategy and Innovation Center; Steve Girsky, Managing Partner, VectoIQ and former GM Board of Directors; and Seval OZ, Former CEO of Continental Intelligent Transportations Systems, LLC.
