WiTricity Executives to Address Two Mobility Events This Month in the Detroit Area

WiTricity is also a finalist in the SAA Mobility Awards’ category ‘Technologies Enabling New Business Models’

Watertown, Mass. – October 7, 2019 –WiTricity, the industry pioneer in wireless power transfer over distance, announced today that its VP of Engineering Steve Ganem and VP of Business Development for Global Automotive Practice David Schatz will be speaking at the SAE International’s Innovations in Mobility event and SAA Mobility Innovations Summit, respectfully, later this month in Michigan. Both will discuss wireless power’s role in the future of mobility, which will be electric, shared and autonomous.

SAA Mobility Innovations Summit– October 17 in Detroit

The SAA Mobility Innovations Summit, hosted by the Society of Automotive Analysts, will feature a diverse examination of the technologies furthering tomorrow’s mobility solutions. WiTricity’s David Schatz will present on the role wireless charging technology plays in the mobility ecosystem, the problems it solves and the evolution of its R&D initiatives.

WiTricity is one of two finalists for the SAA Mobility Awards’ Technologies Enabling New Business Models category. Winners will be announced at the Summit.

SAE International’s Innovations in Mobility– October 29-31 in Novi, Mich.

The SAE International’s Innovations in Mobility event, hosted by the Society of Automotive Engineers, examines the entire mobility sector from alternative and electric powertrains, new lightweight materials, automated/autonomous vehicles, smart city initiatives and more. For the first time, the event is bringing together eight legacy SAE events into one, for global industry leaders to share ideas around what’s driving mobility’s future, technologies and new ways of thinking.

WiTricity’s Steven Ganem will be teeing-off the Vehicle Charging session with a presentation on wireless charging on Oct. 29 from 1-1:30 p.m. In addition to Ganem, representatives from UBER, Toyota, Segway, the U.S. Dept. of Energy, Microsoft and more will be speaking on stage throughout the three-day event.
