Witonsky joins panel with OEMs and suppliers to discuss automotive technology intellectual property (IP) strategies, developments and regulations
Watertown, Mass. – September 24, 2019 –WiTricity, the industry pioneer in wireless power transfer over distance, announced today that its Vice President of IP & Licensing, Scott Witonsky, Ph.D., will speak at Premier Cercle’s IP Seminar at Volvo Car’s headquarters in Gothenburg, Sweden. Witonsky’s plenary session will be part of the Seminar’s “IP in the Value Chain” track and will take place on Tuesday, October 8, at 5:20 p.m. CET.
The IP Seminar @ Volvo Cars is the industry’s first IP conference in collaboration with a prestigious European car manufacturer. The one-and-a-half-day summit will bring together over 250 IP professionals to network and partake in in-depth discussions on emerging challenges and future developments related to IP in the automotive industry. Experts from the entire automotive supply chain will present on topics such as automation, electromobility and connectivity, workflow organization of the IP stream, developments in patent analytics, IP risks and opportunities in a changing automotive landscape, data management and more.
Witonsky’s plenary session will address IP practices and strategies for OEMs and suppliers in the automotive industry, including new developments, reactions to regulations and industry practices, and IP licensing and monetization. Joining Witonsky on stage to round out the discussion will be:
