WiTricity VP Steve Ganem Speaking at the 2017 IEEE Transportation Electrification Conference

Watertown, Mass. – June 22, 2017– Steve Ganem, the vice president of automotive and application engineering at WiTricity, the industry leader in wireless power technology, will today be featured on a panel at the 2017 IEEE Transportation Electrification Conference (ITEC), titled “Wireless Charging for EVs”, to discuss the current trends and emerging technologies in transportation electrification.

About the event: ITEC, organized by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, is an annual three day conference taking place on June 22-24, 2017 in Chicago. ITEC offers a series of panel discussions, tutorials and keynote presentations led by industry experts dedicated to helping the transportation industry transition from conventional vehicles to advanced electrified vehicles.

About the session: Ganem’s interactive session will also feature leading industry executives and researchers who will offer their insights on wireless power transfer as a means to charge electric vehicles conveniently, safely, and as an autonomous alternative to other conventional charging methods. The panel will explore how wireless power in EVs will impact public policy and vehicle and infrastructure integration, as well as recent technological advancements for wireless EV charging, emerging standards, and health and safety aspects.
