The WiTricity Receiver

WiTricity receivers have been field tested on a variety of car makes and models. A receiver in the vehicle captures energy from the magnetic field produced by the charger and converts the energy to direct current for charging its battery.

The WiTricity Charger

The WiTricity flush-mounted charger is engineered to comply with industry standards as recognized by the world’s carmakers and Tier 1 Suppliers. Its power electronics and resonant matching network supply high-frequency current to create a magnetic field that efficiently transfers energy to the receiver.

The complete system

WiTricity designs, builds, and manufactures all of system components to meet the demanding needs of the automotive ecosystem. WiTricity systems are cloud-connected for web-based services by Wi-Fi, Ethernet, or LTE modem. WiTricity provides web services including a user-friendly mobile app for drivers, a hosted asset and performance monitoring portal for fleet operators, and OCPP-compliant connection to web-based services offered by OEMs, charge point operators, and utilities.

The complete system is exhaustively tested for safety, performance, interoperability, ruggedness, and security to meet or exceed the relevant standards.
