At home, at work, and on the course
WiTricity MR/1™ Wireless charging for golf carts

Got wireless?
We asked golf car, neighborhood electric vehicle (NEV), and low-speed vehicle owners what they thought about wireless charging, and unsurprisingly 95% of those surveyed were interested. Their top reasons:
Make charging easier
—
no bending over, no messing with cables
Safe for entire family
—
easy to install and then all you need to do is park to charge
Everyone wants convenience
—
and nobody wants to worry about remembering to plug in or to unplug!
That ease, safety, and convenience were so impactful in our survey that consumers would prefer an identically equipped vehicle with wireless charging 2:1 over the one without it!
Easy to use, easy to install
Power Hub
The same Power Hub transmits power to any cart equipped with the WiTricity Receiver.
No professional installation required – simply plug into an ordinary household outlet, install the wheel guide, and within minutes you’re ready to charge.
Receiver
WiTricity’s Receiver will be installed on the cart, either at the factory or by an authorized dealer. All you need to do is park your equipped vehicle over the Power Hub, and you’re charging!

The new wheels
NEVs are growing in popularity as the vehicle of choice for day to day across the sunbelt and beyond—communities like Peachtree in Georgia and Sun City in Arizona are the poster children for how these eco-friendly vehicles deliver a more modern mobility solution. Street legal, fun to drive, and easy to park, what could be better for a quick trip around the community, a visit to the beach, or a night on the town?
WiTricity is working with the leading manufacturers, building one charging platform that will work across equipped vehicles. Let us know if you are interested! Use the contact link below to let us know what golf car or NEV brand and model you’d like to see support wireless charging.
Commercial applications
The ease, reliability, and simplicity of wireless charging applies to commercial applications, too. Golf carts are used in all sorts of businesses - as courtesy transportation at resorts, as runabouts on construction sites and college campuses, and, we dare say, on golf courses.
